Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer

Since joining Janney in 2006, Scott H. Aschoff has implemented a number of successful initiatives to improve services and compress processing times in various Operations Departments. A member of Janney’s Management Committee, Mr. Aschoff is part of several standing firm committees, including: Best Execution, Compliance, Credit & Risk Management, Penn Mutual Life (PML) Enterprise Risk Management and Information Systems & Product Review. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Aschoff served as Managing Director & Director of Operations for Harrisdirect LLC, a division of BMO Financial Group. Mr. Aschoff has also held high profile positions at CSFBdirect LLC, a division of Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was Senior Vice President and Director of Operations, as well as DLJdirect, a division of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation, where Mr. Aschoff served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations. Mr. Aschoff received his bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Kutztown University and his masters of science in organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a number of NASD licenses.
