Mr. Schatz joined Janney in August 2008 as the Director of Research, bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge and a history of involvement in growing successful, sell-side businesses over the course of his career. He is based in the Philadelphia, PA, corporate headquarters. He joined the Firm from Stifel Nicholas, where he was Director of Product Management. Prior to that, Mr. Schatz was with Alex. Brown and Deutsche Bank, where he served as North American Product Manager, Co-Chair of the Investment Committee and Chair of the Deal Marketing committee. Mr. Schatz received a bachelor of arts from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
