Mr. Connors joined Janney in March 2010 as a Director and covers water and agriculture related stocks for the Firm. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. Connors spent four years heading up the Water Infrastructure research practice at boutique investment bank Boenning & Scattergood, and he has been recognized by The Financial Times as being among the leading stock pickers in the industrials/water space for three consecutive years, including 2009, 2010, and 2011. Mr. Connors was previously affiliated with Janney Equity Research from 2003-2006, during which time he covered industrials for the Firm. His experience also includes buy-side research positions with both PNC Advisors, where he followed Industrials and Basic Materials, and ProShare Advisors, where he was responsible for fixed income research and trading. Mr. Connors has appeared as a live guest on CNBC and Bloomberg Television, and his work has been cited by major financial press outlets including Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal and Investor’s Business Daily. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
