Mr. Choi has over 15 years of experience in sell-side equity research covering the Communications Equipment and IT Hardware industries. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. Choi was a Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst at Jefferies & Co. covering the Data Networking, Wireless Equipment and Enterprise Storage sectors. Mr. Choi also served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co., Kaufman Bros., and UBS (PaineWebber). At Merrill Lynch, he assumed the additional role of Global Coordinator for wireless equipment research, facilitating the firm’s research efforts across geographies and across industry sectors. He began his career in equity research at Prudential Securities. Mr. Choi graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in Finance and Management. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1999.
