Head of Public Finance 
Chris Long is Managing Director, Head of Public Finance at Janney. He joined the firm in June 2009 and has more than 10 years experience in all areas of Municipal Finance, including trading, underwriting, sales and management.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Long worked at UBS in New York, where he was the Executive Director and Manager of the Municipal Short-Term Group. In this role, he managed the Short-Term Trading desk and was responsible for an $80 billion program of tax-exempt and taxable money-market products, including variable rate demand obligations, auction rate securities, commercial paper and notes. During his tenure at UBS, Mr. Long also served in other key areas of the Municipal Securities department, such as institutional sales, retail marketing/trading, and underwriting.

Mr. Long is a graduate of Saint Francis College and received his MBA from Fordham University.
