Megan Rutt joined Janney in August 2009 as a Managing Director of Debt Capital Markets and Institutional Fixed Income Sales Management. As part of her role within DCM, she has led the effort to partner with the Firm’s investment banking division to offer clients corporate underwriting capabilities as well as financing solutions and advice.

Ms. Rutt comes to Janney from Deutsche Bank’s fixed income trading desk in New York where she was responsible for credit analysis and desk positioning in both cash bonds and credit default swaps (CDS). Prior to Deutsche Bank, Ms. Rutt spent six years at JP Morgan on the CDS trading desk and as an investment banker in the Leveraged Finance Group where she raised debt for private equity firms and non-investment grade companies. Ms. Rutt has also done various consulting projects throughout the world, where she focused on credit analysis, private equity investing and credit default swap valuation.

Ms. Rutt is a graduate of Lafayette College and an avid marathoner and tri-athlete.
