Mr. Henson, a 28 year veteran of the public finance industry joined Janney in July 2011 as the Manager of the Public Finance Department. Mr. Henson came to Janney directly from PNC, where he served in a similar capacity from 2003 until his departure at the beginning of July 2011. In addition to managing the public finance department, Mr. Henson lends his considerable experience and expertise to the effort of providing the highest quality investment banking coverage for governmental issuers in Pennsylvania and across Janney’s footprint. Prior to his employment at PNC, Mr. Henson spent 20 years in the public finance department of UBS and its predecessor organizations. Prior to his departure from UBS, Mr. Henson served as managing director in charge of that firm’s sports & recreation finance practice, as well as senior banker in charge of the State of Ohio, including all state-level issuers and all major metropolitan counties and cities.

Mr. Henson received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in finance.
