As a Director in Janney’s Municipal Capital Markets group, Mr. Elliott is responsible for all aspects of project and client management. Mr. Elliott has extensive transaction experience, including assisting states, counties, municipalities, school districts, charter schools, higher education institutions, professional sports franchises, state level authorities and student loan issuers to access the capital markets. Prior to joining Janney in May 2010, Mr. Elliott served as a financial advisor at Public Financial Management and as an investment banker in the Municipal Securities Group at UBS. Mr. Elliott has extensive experience with various public finance debt structures and products, including tax-exempt and taxable bonds, callable and non-callable fixed rate bonds, variable rate demand obligations, auction rate certificates, tax increment financings, annual note funding programs, Qualified School Construction Bonds, Qualified Zone Academy Bonds, Build America Bonds, investment products, letters of credit, and derivative products. Mr. Elliott graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business, and a minor in Government. He currently holds his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
