Managing Director
Ms. Morse is a Managing Director in Janney’s Municipal Capital Markets Group and leads the healthcare municipal finance practice across the Firm’s footprint, including New England. An industry veteran, Ms. Morse brings more than 20 years of successful healthcare and public finance experience to Janney. During her career, she has completed $5 billion of variable and fixed rate bond transactions and originated and underwrote close to $6 billion of financial guaranties to credit-enhance a high volume of floating and fixed rate debt transactions from 2003 to 2009.

Ms. Morse joined Janney after spending almost seven years at Ambac, where she played a key role in the firm’s municipal and healthcare financial guaranty franchise as a First Vice President in the National Municipal Finance Group. Throughout her career, Ms. Morse has gained broad experience across municipal functions in the healthcare arena while working for some of the industry’s most notable firms, including Lehman Brothers, Legg Mason, Universal Health Services and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care health maintenance organization.

Given her versatile background spanning both the investment banking and financial guaranty businesses, Ms. Morse contributes both capital markets structuring and deal origination expertise along with strong credit analysis and industry research capabilities to the Janney team. She has assisted both hospital systems and senior living organizations across the credit spectrum in a variety of roles, making her uniquely qualified to advise a broad base of healthcare issuers regarding their strategic direction and capital markets alternatives.

Ms. Morse received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brown University and her MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Graduate School of Business.
