Dan O’Brien is a Vice President in Janney’s Municipal Capital Markets group. Based in the Philadelphia office, he is responsible for all aspects of project and client management for clients throughout Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Janney, Mr. O’Brien served as a bond attorney with Stevens & Lee and as a financial analyst with PNC Capital Markets and Commerce Capital Markets. His experience also includes working in the City of Philadelphia Office of the Director of Finance, where he managed the debt issuance of the City and its related agencies. Mr. O’Brien’s public finance experience also includes financings for state issuers, counties, municipalities, school districts, charter schools, private secondary schools, health systems/hospitals, senior living providers, colleges and universities, and economic development agencies. Mr. O’Brien graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Political Science and he received his Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law.
