Jeff Levinson joined Janney in August 2006 and is responsible for Fixed Income Capital Markets coverage of regulated, investor-owned water and energy utilities as well as supporting Janney’s Project Finance Group. Mr. Levinson’s finance experience includes financings for water and energy utilities, electric and natural gas infrastructure projects, industrial equipment and instrumentation companies as well as M&A and take-over defense advisory for clients in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia. He has raised a combined $5.4 billion in debt and equity, both public and private, for his clients. Mr. Levinson began his career as a Geologist supporting and then supervising Environmental Site Assessments for both federal government and corporate clients. In 2000, Mr. Levinson transitioned to the automotive industry where he spent 3 years with Ford Motor Company supporting early program development for new car platforms, working with the CEO on corporate strategy development and ultimately was responsible for development, marketing and overseas distribution of 6 vehicle lines. Mr. Levinson then joined Jaguar Cars, where he led key marketing and sales functions for the Company’s North American market. Mr. Levinson is a graduate of Wesleyan University. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a Masters in Marine Policy from the Graduate College of Studies at the University of Delaware. Mr. Levinson was the 2009 and 2010 Co-Chair of the Cleantech Committee for the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technology and he is on the Advisory Board for The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s 2011 Energy Efficiency Finance Forum.
