Mr. Losty is responsible for business development and client relationships with banks and thrifts located in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Prior to joining Janney in 1995, he had over 10 years of financial institutions experience with Wheat First Butcher Singer, Ryan Beck & Company and Crestar Securities Corporation. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 200 transactions including mergers, acquisitions, public offerings of equity and debt, conversion mergers, branch purchases and sales, thrift mutual to stock conversions, mutual holding company formations, community offerings, valuations and other financial advisory services. He is a member of and an active speaker for various state trade groups, and he has published Annual and Quarterly Thrift and Bank Reviews.
