The Strategic Advisory Group provides specialized merger and acquisition services to middle market clients independently, and in conjunction with our Industry groups. We advise clients across North America, typically working with companies varying in enterprise value from $25 million to $500 million. Our core focus is on the sale of privately-held companies backed by entrepreneurs, multi-generational families or private equity groups as well as divisions of larger corporations. We serve companies in multiple industries and often leverage the expertise of our dedicated Industry Groups to best meet our clients’ needs. We staff our assignments with senior bankers and teams that have been specifically trained in the intricacies of middle market M&A. In addition to middle market M&A advisory services, the Strategic Advisory Group fosters and maintains value-added relationships with professional services organizations in the private equity, legal, consulting and accounting communities. We coordinate business development activities involving transaction opportunities referred by these relationships. In addition, we facilitate the coordination of relevant deal flow opportunities for private equity firms interested in Janney’s M&A sell-side and private placement transactions. The Strategic Advisory Group maintains an up-to-date database of profiles for our existing Investment Banking private equity fund relationships.
