Experience

Mark is Janney’s Chief Investment Strategist and leads the Investment Strategy Group, which sets the firm’s view on macroeconomics as well as the equity and fixed income markets. In addition, Mark is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Janney Capital Management (JCM), the asset management subsidiary of Janney Montgomery Scott. Under his leadership, JCM has delivered comprehensive solutions across its suite of investment strategies and has assets under management of approximately $3 billion.

As Chief Investment Strategist, Mark serves as the firm’s investment spokesperson, offering national market commentary and developing asset allocation models and investment strategies. He chairs the investment committee and actively interfaces with both current and prospective clients.

Mark joined Janney as part of the Parker Hunter merger in 2005 and has spent more than 30 years in the investment industry. He frequently utilizes his experience to speak on topics related to investment planning and asset management at seminars, conferences and in the media. Mark holds his B.A. and M.B.A. from Gannon University.
