PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, capital markets, and asset management firm, has announced the addition of Will ORielly as Head of Investment and Wealth Solutions.
In this role, Will is responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the firm’s wealth management solutions with a focus on identifying products, services, and technologies that allow Financial Advisors to effectively address evolving client needs.
He will lead a team of investment, insurance, lending, and wealth professionals whose responsibilities include the development and ongoing management of Janney’s annuities, insurance, investment funds, corporate trustee, and credit/lending solutions.

Will has 30 years of experience working with financial advisors, private banks, insurance companies, and institutional money management firms. Most recently, he served in leadership roles at Truist Wealth and predecessors, partnering with financial advisors to deliver optimized managed solutions, investment company, and alternative investment platforms. Additionally, he has held leadership roles at platform and solution providers, including SEI, UBS, and Wells Fargo.
Will is an advisory board member of the Salvation Army-Southern Territory, a Charted Financial Analyst, a Certified Financial Planner, and a member of the CFA Institute. He holds mechanical engineering and economics degrees from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Duke University.
