Transaction Overview
Janney Montgomery Scott served as sole managing underwriter for a $9,985,000 General Obligation Bond issue for New Brighton Area School District. This issue carried a rating of A2 (Stable) from Moody’s and was insured by AGM. The Bonds provided funds for upgrades to and replacement of various HVAC equipment and capital projects throughout the District. The closing of the transaction occurred on August 2, 2022.
About New Brighton Area School District
New Brighton Area School District is located in central Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at the convergence of the Beaver River and the Ohio River and is approximately 25 miles northwest of the City of Pittsburgh. The District is comprised of the Boroughs of Fallston and New Brighton and the Townships of Daugherty and Pulaski. It covers a land area of 12.283 square miles, serving a 2010 U.S. census population of 10,366.
