After a decisive electoral victory, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reiterated his pledge to take Britain out of the European Union (EU) by the current January 31 deadline.

Johnson had reached a separation agreement with the EU and he is expected to bring his bill on the terms of Britain’s split from the EU (Brexit) back to Parliament before Christmas, with full approval of the plan expected in January. Talks for a future trade deal with the EU will begin shortly after approval.
