PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, capital markets, and asset management firm, announced the addition of Raymond and Matthew Lamorgese in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Both were formerly associated with Morgan Stanley.

- Raymond Lamorgese, First Vice President/Wealth Management. Raymond joins Janney with 18 years of industry experience and with the desire to provide clients with the highest quality of service to help them reach their goals. Raymond served at Morgan Stanley since 2009 after the firm acquired Smith Barney, where he began his career in 2004. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Raymond served as an Assistant Executive Director for a specialty hospital in Philadelphia. He also co-founded a healthcare management company that acquired and managed physician practices in the Philadelphia region. Raymond graduated from Villanova University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. He went on to earn his MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. Raymond also holds the series 7, 63, and 65 licenses and Life, Health, and Variable Annuity license.
- Matthew Lamorgese, Financial Advisor. Matthew is a second-generation financial advisor, serving alongside his father, Raymond. His practice focuses on offering clients holistic financial advice, including a tailored, comprehensive financial plan, a sound investment strategy, and periodic plan review. Matt is a graduate of Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Before joining Janney, Matt spent four years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. Outside of work, Matt serves as Secretary of the Philadelphia Young Republicans, active in the Drexel University Alumni Association, The Metropolitan Republican Club, and The Philadelphia Securities Association. He is also a member of the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor and The Pennsylvania Society.
