Ned Kennedy to Lead Expansion and Advisor Recruitment in Key Midwest Market.

PHILADELPHIA — Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management and investment banking firm, is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch office in Chicago, led by Ned Kennedy who has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Complex Director.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Ned will spearhead Janney’s growth in the Chicago market, focusing on recruiting experienced financial advisors to the office, and ensuring excellent support for the firm’s Financial Advisors and clients.

Most recently, Ned served as Managing Director and Branch Office Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors in Chicago, where he led a team of over 20 financial advisors. He has also held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, DB Alex. Brown, and Montgomery Securities, beginning his career as a Financial Advisor at Salomon Brothers.
