PHILADELPHIA, PA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (“Janney”), a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, announced that four experienced industry professionals have joined the firm’s Washington, DC branch office. The team joins the firm as KSF Wealth of Janney Montgomery Scott and is comprised of Matthew Kroehler, Executive Vice President/Wealth Management; Lee Springer, First Vice President/Wealth Management; James Farrell, Financial Advisor; and Veronica Joyner, Senior Registered Private Client Associate. They were previously affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors and have nearly 50 years of combined financial services industry experience.

Mr. Kroehler serves on the National Cherry Blossom committee and enjoys participating in the 4Deserts races, an annual series of ultra-marathons held in major deserts throughout the world. - Lee Springer, CRPC®, First Vice President/Wealth Management – For more than 15 years, Mr. Springer has successfully worked with clients, emphasizing financial planning, cash-flow strategies, liability management, and legacy planning to grow and protect capital. He holds a B.S. in Finance from California State University, Northridge and earned two practitioner designations from the College for Financial Planning as a Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC®) and Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ADPA®).
- James Farrell, Financial Advisor – A 10-year industry veteran, Mr. Farrell specializes in equities with a focus on dividend income investing and provides research leadership for the team on international and emerging market economies. A proud South African, he earned an economics degree from the University of South Africa and ran his own family business before immigrating to the United States. An avid global traveler, he is fluent in Afrikaans and proficient in Spanish.
- Veronica Joyner, Senior Registered Private Client Associate – With nearly two decades of financial services industry experience, Ms. Joyner provides leadership in ongoing operations, serves as the team’s marketing leader, and is responsible for implementing the group’s service model to ensure that all client needs are met. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Originally from Richmond, VA, she currently lives in Maryland and is an avid traveler, having visited many countries around the world.
