Community is defined as a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. This definition, while accurate, seems insufficient. Communities bring people together to support each other through the adversities of everyday life. In an industry that is all about people, without it, our business would not thrive.

The members of Team Janney live and work in over 110 offices across the country. However, regardless of where they reside, one thing is clear to all—there are not enough words in the dictionary to convey the importance of giving back. As a firm, we take immense pride in the time and effort our employees dedicate to their communities throughout the year. For them, it is not just another item on a to-do list, it is an integral part of who they are.

This year, we decided to highlight those incredible efforts through a month-long social media campaign titled “A Month of Janney Giving.” Not only did this campaign provide a window into the kindhearted people that make up our firm, but it also brought recognition to numerous non-profit organizations across the east coast and as far west as Ohio. Posts from the campaign were viewed 44,500 times and drove a total of 1,748 engagements. Thank you to all of the branches, teams, and advisors who participated, and to the entire Janney family for your commitment to keeping people at the center.
