Janney announced that Kenneth Harlon Neal Jr. has joined the firm’s Goldsboro, North Carolina branch office as a Financial Advisor. Mr. Neal previously served as Vice President/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for 13 years.
PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm, announced that Kenneth Harlon Neal Jr. has joined the firm’s Goldsboro, North Carolina branch office as a Financial Advisor. Mr. Neal previously served as Vice President/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for 13 years.

Mr. Neal began his career in the financial industry as branch manager and district manager at American General Finance before joining Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors, where he served as Vice President/Financial Advisor. Mr. Neal is a Certified Retirement Planning Counselor and holds the A&H property and casualty, long-term care insurance, and Series 7, 63, and 68 licenses.
Outside of the office, Mr. Neal enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison, and their two children, Cody and Hannah. He has a passion for community involvement and currently serves as Vice President of Finance for the Tuscarora Council BSA Scouting, Board Member of the Greater Neuse Chapter Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Business Gifts Chairman of 3HC Development. He also does the color commentary for high school football on a local radio station.
