The New Buckhead Group Joins Janney in Atlanta

PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, capital markets, and asset management firm, announced the addition of The New Buckhead Group in Atlanta. The team was formerly associated with Truist.

The team is led by Financial Advisors Steven Napier, Executive Vice President/Investments, and Landon Weeks, First Vice President/Investments. They are also joined by Christi Banko, Senior Registered Private Client Associate.

Steven Napier, Executive Vice President/Investments, Financial Advisor. Steve’s focus when meeting with clients is identifying their needs—current, future, and legacy as well as developing an investment strategy to help them reach their goals. He has served in the financial services industry since 1985, with tenures including opening and managing a Legg Mason office and most recently serving as lead Financial Advisor of the New Buckhead Group at Truist Investment Services. Steve also holds the Series 7, 63, 66, and 31 licenses.

Staying involved in the community, Steve has been a member of 300 Club for 11 years, which supports first responders in Atlanta. He also supports Thornwell School in South Carolina, which helps children develop the skills to enable them to succeed in higher education, their careers, and their communities. He also supports Habitat for Humanity. 

Landon Weeks, First Vice President/Investments, Financial Advisor. Landon started his career with Merrill Lynch and has been helping clients achieve their goals since 2009. An Atlanta native, Landon has a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Stetson University. In his free time, Landon enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, playing golf, boating, and following college and professional football.
