Lynn Erskine Named Janney’s Northern Regional Manager

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm, has announced that Lynn Erskine has been named Northern Regional Manager. She replaces Chris Wilkinson who has retired after leading the region for more than 15 years.  

As Northern Regional Manager, Lynn will lead Janney’s largest region, encompassing nearly 275 Financial Advisors and more than 30 branch offices throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. 

Most recently, Lynn was Director of Janney’s Private Client Practice Management Group where she was responsible for leading the firm’s practice management and training group, regional business development consultants, and learning and teaming initiatives. She has also provided strategic leadership to amplify Janney’s Financial Advisor recruiting efforts.

Lynn has 30 years of experience in the investment management industry ranging from advisory and leadership roles at small to mid-sized asset managers, and was previously a Financial Advisor. Her experience includes being a pioneer in the shift to the advisory and a fee-based model, building and managing successful sales teams, leading firms and teams through restructuring and transformation, and the design and implementation of new products.

Lynn earned her undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and her M.B.A. from University of Houston - Clearlake. A lifetime learner, Lynn earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1997 and became a Certified Financial Planner Professional^TM in 2018.
