Experience

David Reed serves as a Managing Director in Janney’s Corporate Advisory Group. He has over 25 years of experience advising middle market companies and entrepreneurs, assisting in the completion of acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises for a variety of industry sectors.

Prior to joining Janney, David ran the Capital Market Strategies effort at Fulton Bank, advising the commercial bank’s clients on dividend recapitalizations, acquisition finance, ESOP transactions, and divestitures. Prior to Fulton Bank, he spent 15 years as a Co-Founder and Director at Fairmount Partners, a middle-market investment banking firm, providing M&A and capital raising guidance with a focus on business-to-business services, including pharmaceutical and technology services. His experience also includes investment banking positions at Investec, PMG Capital, and First Union, as well as commercial lending experience at Corestates Financial.

David graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in Business Administration and minors in Finance and History. He holds his FINRA Series 79 license.
