Jason Stewart is a Director and Equity Research Analyst covering the mortgage finance sector. An industry expert and veteran, he has over two decades of experience as a sell-side analyst and asset manager overseeing portfolios of real estate, fixed income, equities, and derivatives.

Prior to joining Janney, Jason was the Chief Operating and Investment Officer of The Promise Homes Company, LLC, a private institutional owner and operator of residential rental real estate. He also established the Institutional Equity Research Group of Compass Point Research and Trading, where he served as Managing Director and Head of Research.

Jason holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and is a CFA Charter holder. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
