Jerad Comarda joined Janney in 2019 and currently serves as a Director of Investment Banking with the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. He is primarily responsible for covering banks in the Gulf South region and acting as an advisor on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and other strategic initiatives.

Jerad worked in the investment banking group at FIG Partners since 2013 prior to Janney’s acquisition of them in 2019. He started his career as a financial analyst in the Asset Liability Management department at First Empire Securities, a New York based broker-dealer serving credit unions and community banks. He has been involved in more than 50 bank transactions throughout the course of his career.

Jerad majored in Management and later received an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of New Orleans. He holds the Series 79 FINRA license.
