Kathy Hanna is an Associate in Janney’s Pittsburgh Public Finance Office and the team’s senior professional in charge of transaction administration and coordination. She acts as the point person concerning issues of continuing disclosure, EMMA and DTC, and serves as the liaison between the Firm’s municipal issuer clients and the municipal bond insurers and credit rating agencies.
Kathy is an industry veteran with over 45 years of experience in fixed income trading, operations, and administration. She joined Janney in 2005 as part of the Firm’s acquisition of Parker/Hunter Inc., where served as Vice President of Fixed Income Trading for over 20 years. Additionally, she spent five years on the fixed income trading desk at Paine Webber and nine years as Assistant Manager of Operations at Moore, Leonard & Lynch.
Kathy maintains the Series 7 general securities and Series 53 municipal principal licenses.
