Margolit Hillsberg is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She is also a member of the Firm’s Executive Leadership Team.
In her role, she is responsible for advancing Janney’s people and culture goals and objectives, including diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), talent development, total rewards, as well as recruiting and retention, among other areas.
Margolit has more than 20 years of experience in human resources (HR), DEI, and talent management strategies. Before joining Janney, she most recently was Chief Human Resources Officer at Citadel Credit Union, and she has also held senior HR positions at Comcast and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Margolit is an accomplished public speaker and published author on HR best practices. She is actively involved in her local community, currently serving on the Board of Community Volunteers in Medicine and the DEI and Award committees of the Forum of Executive Women.
Margolit earned a B.A. in psychology and minor in German from the University of Michigan, graduating with high distinction. She also earned a M.A. in human resource management from George Washington University.
