Ricardo Diaz is the Chief Revenue Officer within the Fixed Income Capital Markets Group. Ricardo joined Janney in 2019, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in financial services and investment banking. Prior to his tenure at Janney, Ricardo served as Managing Director of Fixed Income & Whole Loan Trading at FIG Partners, a leading investment banking and research firm focusing on community banks. During his time at FIG Partners, he played a pivotal role in establishing and spearheading the firm's fixed income division, with a focus on sales, trading, advisory, and capital markets. Before his tenure at FIG Partners, Ricardo co-founded Vertical Capital Solutions, a valuation and advisory firm specializing in structured products. Additionally, he served as a Managing Partner and Founder of Angel Oak Capital Partners, a money manager specializing in mortgage and structured credit investing. Earlier in his career, Ricardo held prominent roles including Managing Principal and Founder of Terminus Asset Management Company, Managing Director in the Principal Finance Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Portfolio Manager (CLOs) at AIG. He also gained valuable experience in Fixed Income Capital Markets as an ABS investment banker at both Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Securities. 

Ricardo Diaz received his B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
