Sophie Jean is responsible for providing transaction execution support, credit analysis, and quantitative analysis for Janney’s issuer clients, as well as higher education institutions and other non-profit organizations.

Sophie has been involved in numerous issues on which Janney served as sole manager, senior manager, co-manager, placement agent, or municipal advisor. Prior to joining the Firm in December 2015, she worked as an Analyst at TD Securities (USA) LLC and Stifel Nicolaus, where she delivered banking and quantitative support to a variety of state-level issuers, primarily in the Northeast. She has nine years of industry experience. Sophie has been an active member of the Northeast Women in Public Finance organization since 2011.

She graduated from St. John’s University with a B.S. in Finance and holds the Series 50, Series 52, and Series 63 licenses.
