Mark Giles joins as Market Development Director to spearhead continued growth in Texas.

PHILADELPHIA - Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management and investment banking firm, has expanded its footprint into Texas with the opening of a new office in Dallas and the addition of the West Haven Private Wealth. The firm has also announced that Mark Giles has joined as Market Development Director to help drive future growth in Texas.

“Expanding into Texas has been a strategic priority for Janney, and we’re proud to open our Dallas office with West Haven Private Wealth,” said Kevin Reed, President of Janney’s Private Client Group. “Texas is an important growth market for the firm, and we look forward to continuing our investment across the state, with a focus on Austin, Fort Worth, and Houston.”

The West Haven Private Wealth joins Janney from RBC, bringing more than $200 million in client assets. The team is led by Financial Advisors Lauren Johnson Housh, Senior Vice President/Wealth Management, and James Winkler, Senior Vice President/Wealth Management. They are joined by Randi Walker, Senior Wealth Planning Associate.

“From our first conversations, it was clear that Janney shares our values and commitment to putting clients first,” said Lauren Johnson Housh. “Joining Janney allows us to strengthen the experience we deliver by combining the personal service and trusted guidance our clients rely on with the resources of a respected, growing firm.”

Mark Giles brings more than 35 years of experience in financial services, beginning his career as a Financial Advisor in Dallas before moving into investment management. He has represented leading firms including Oppenheimer, Davis Advisors, Neuberger Berman, and BNY Mellon.

As part of this expansion, Janney’s Florida Region has been renamed the Gulf Region, reflecting the firm’s continued growth across the Southeast and into Texas. The region will continue to be led by Frank Amigo, who has been instrumental in Janney’s success throughout Florida and now plays a key role in supporting growth across Texas and beyond.

“The establishment of our Gulf Region represents another important step in Janney’s long-term growth strategy,” said Frank Amigo, Regional Director. “I’m proud of the strong foundation our teams have built across Florida and excited to lead our continued expansion into new markets where we can deliver Janney’s culture, resources, and client-first experience to more advisors and clients.”

With the opening of Dallas, Janney now has 137 offices across 25 states.
