PHILADELPHIA – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is proud to announce that Tom Croonquist, Jr., Executive Vice President/Wealth Management, Branch Office Manager, has been named the firm’s Financial Advisor of the Year. This prestigious honor recognizes an advisor who consistently demonstrates outstanding client dedication, leadership within the firm, and meaningful community involvement.
Tom is based in Janney’s Hackensack, New Jersey office, where he advises individuals and families as part of The Croonquist Group, a multi-generational family team led by his father, George, alongside his brother, Pete, and his son, Brent.

Over more than three decades, Tom has built a strong, relationship-driven practice centered on comprehensive guidance and thoughtful planning. His consistent focus on long-term goals and risk management has helped deepen client relationships and position his team as a trusted resource in the communities they serve.
Tom joined Janney in 1989 and has remained a dedicated leader within the firm ever since. He has served on several firm committees, sharing his experience and helping support the next generation of advisors.
Outside the office, Tom is committed to strengthening his community. He serves as a board member/trustee for nonprofit organizations including the Hackensack Meridian Medical Center Foundation and the Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties, and he has been a member of the Hackensack Lions Club for 35 years. Tom and his wife, Sue, live in North Caldwell, New Jersey, where they have three children and seven grandchildren.
