Brett Riggi is Chief Operating Officer and a member of Janney’s Executive Leadership Team.
Brett leads Janney’s technology, operations, data and insights, and strategic initiatives organizations. He is responsible for strengthening the firm’s technology and operational foundation to enhance the client experience, advancing a unified data strategy, defining and implementing the firm’s artificial intelligence strategy, and translating strategic priorities into sustainable growth. Brett also serves as executive sponsor of Janney’s Women’s Interactive Network (WIN), supporting the firm’s commitment to an inclusive and collaborative culture.
Brett has over 30 years of experience delivering transformational technology systems and digital solutions. He joined Janney from UBS, where he implemented solutions for the firm’s clients, advisors, and support teams as a member of the Wealth Management USA Technology Management Committee. Prior to UBS, Brett was Chief Information Officer for Global Sales, Research, and Capital Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Brett has supported DE&I initiatives throughout his career and, at UBS, sponsored its flagship development program for high-performing female talent across technology and operations.
Educational Background
Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and mathematics from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration in finance and information technology strategy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
