Greg Steele is a Managing Director on Janney’s Real Estate Investment Banking team, where he is focused on providing comprehensive advisory and capital markets services to the commercial real estate sector.

Greg has over 25 years of experience in real estate investment banking and finance, and his transaction experience exceeds $60 billion in value across a wide variety of M&A, public and private equity and debt placements, and financial advisory assignments.

Prior to joining Janney, Greg was Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investment Banking at Capital One Securities, Inc. where he built a successful team focused on companies in the public REIT sector. Previously, Greg spent 17 years at BMO Capital Markets where he acquired extensive transaction experience with publicly-traded REITs, non-listed REITs, private equity sponsors, and real estate operating and services companies, providing leveraged finance, private placements, and high-yield and investment-grade bonds.

Greg holds B.Sc. and MBA (Finance) degrees from McGill University in Montreal, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
