For added security when accessing Online Access through a web browser on your desktop, laptop, or tablet device, we suggest you utilize Janney’s Mobile Push Authentication. Instead of receiving a PIN verification via text message or phone call to verify your identity, you will now receive a more secure Mobile Push Notification.

When logging into Online Access through a web browser, you’ll receive a prompt on your mobile device to confirm it’s really you. This two-step process ensures your accounts stay secure and protected. For your safety and security, this is the preferred authentication method moving forward.


Steps to enable mobile push authentication:

 

Select an Authentication Method

Step 1:

Navigate to www.MyJanney.com and enter your Username and Password. On the Authentication screen, select Mobile Push Authentication as your authentication method and click Next.

Step 2:

If you don’t have the MyJanney mobile app, you’ll be prompted to download it. Simply scan the QR code shown on the screen to get the app. If you have already downloaded the app, move on to Step 3.  

Click Allow

Step 3:

After downloading or opening the app on your phone, you’ll be asked to allow notifications. Make sure you click Allow so that we can send you authentication requests. 

Please note: Mobile notifications for the Janney app are critical to the Mobile Push Authentication process. If you have already received this notification and selected Don’t Allow, follow the steps below to reinstate notifications.

Step 4:

Once notifications are enabled, a message will appear on the desktop confirming that your mobile device is set up. Click Next to proceed.

Authenticate the request from mobile device

Step 5:

You’ll now see a notification on your mobile app. the website you’ll see a waiting page with an authorization code.

You’ll need to enter the matching authorization code displayed on the website into your mobile app and click “Yes it’s me” on your phone to confirm your login.

You should now be logged into Online Access

Step 6:

When the authorization code is entered correctly, your Online Access home page will appear. You will also receive a verification on your mobile device confirming your successful login.

How do I reenable notifications on Janney’s mobile app?

  • Step 1: Navigate to your phone Settings and select Notifications.  
  • Step 2: From the Notifications menu, select the Janney app.
  • Step 3: Turn toggle switch to ON to allow notifications.

How do I add an approved device to Online Access?

You may add a new device to your Online Access account by downloading the mobile app on your new device. Once your app is updated to the latest version, log in to the Janney mobile app. Click Allow when you see the following notification approval pop-up.
