Tom will lead Janney's growth in the Northern Florida market with a focus on recruiting and advisor support.

PHILADELPHIA — Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services, and investment banking firm, has announced the addition of Tom Galvin as Senior Vice President and Complex Director. He joins the firm from Raymond James. 

With over 25 years of industry experience, Tom will work with Janney’s leadership team on strategic initiatives focused on recruiting and advisor support and lead Janney’s growth in the Northern Florida market which includes the firm’s existing Ponte Vedra office. As Complex Director, he will focus on supporting the firm’s Financial Advisors and recruiting experienced Financial Advisors to the firm.

After starting as a financial advisor in 1998, Tom spent more than two decades in field leadership at Raymond James as a branch manager, complex manager, regional director and most recently, divisional director. He was a former member of the Raymond James Executive Council and was named RJA Branch Manager of the Year in 2006 and Complex Manager of the Year in 2010. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Texas at El Paso and completed the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
