Bill Reisner serves as a Managing Director and Head of Janney’s Municipal Fixed Income Group with responsibility over all municipal sales, trading, underwriting, research, and banking activities. Bill has a high level of expertise in client management and the execution of complex financing plans. Prior to Janney, Bill was the Head of Public Finance Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. In this role, he was able to raise Oppenheimer’s profile within the municipal industry and augment its negotiated rankings with selective banker hires, refocused sector coverage, new municipal offices, and through the acquisition of a California-based broker-dealer.

As a seasoned player-coach, Bill has been directly involved in over $230 billion of transactional par, spanning 500+ deals, in various roles, rated and unrated. Additionally, he has been directly involved in the launch of new and innovative municipal bond structures to finance senior housing and federal assets, as well as the launch of new product groups to include a P3 Infrastructure Advisory and Municipal Restructuring Strategic Advisory practice.

Personal and Educational Background

Bill graduated from Dartmouth College and received his Executive MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
