Per-Arne (P.A.) Weiner serves as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Janney’s Financial Technology Investment Banking Team, where he specializes in Bank Technology and Capital Markets Technology.
P.A. has over 30 years of investment banking experience in the U.S. and Europe, working with sponsors both public and private companies on M&A, Equity, and Debt transactions. He has executed more than 40 equity transactions and advised clients including SAP, Certegy, Vista, NCR, FundTech (GTCR), Black Knight and Sage plc on M&A transactions totaling more than $20 billion in value.
P.A. started his career at Alex. Brown & Sons and has held various senior positions including Head of European Software investment banking at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, Founder and Co-Head of Fintech investment banking at Deutsche Bank, and Head of Fintech investment banking at RBC Capital Markets. P.A. has also served as Partner at Gleacher Partners, and Managing Director in Fintech investment banking at Truist Securities.
Personal Background
P.A. earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he was a Tuck Scholar.
He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 62, 63 and 79 licenses.
