Robert Biggs joined Janney Montgomery Scott as Managing Director of Portfolio Strategies in 2023, where he works with clients, sales representatives, and traders to identify opportunities that maximize revenue within approved investment parameters while meeting organizational needs. 

Robert is a frequent speaker and author on various banking topics, such as Asset/Liability Management, Portfolio Management, Economics, the State of Banking, Relative Value, and more.

Robert previously served as the Managing Director of the Fixed Income Strategies Group at SouthState|DuncanWilliams. In that role, he led a team of community depository focused strategists to help banks and credit unions meet revenue goals while balancing liquidity needs, credit risk, and the overall balance sheet’s interest rate risk. In addition, he oversaw internal and external fixed income education platforms.

Robert received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Memphis.
