Janney Montgomery Scott served as advisor to G.R. Klinefelter Underwriters, Inc. (“GRK”), an organization that provides management and administrative support to several mutual insurance companies.

The Transaction represented a unique opportunity to improve Windsor’s operational efficiency and cost structure, as well as provide for GRKs ongoing succession.

About G.R. Klinefelter Underwriters Inc.

GRK began as an independent insurance agency in the 1930’s. In 1964, the organization developed into a management company that currently serves mutual insurance companies, and in the past managed a vast array of insurance related organizations. GRK also manages special insurance situations for other companies or associations.

Windsor-Mount Joy Mutual Insurance started in 1844 and has evolved over the years. Starting with a good foundation as Mount Joy Township Mutual Fire Insurance Association, the company has expanded many times over the years but maintains its hometown feel.
