PHILADELPHIA - Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a leading full-service wealth management, capital markets, and asset management firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Jamie Jones as Vice President, Director of Business Development and Teaming in the firm’s Practice Management Group, a key advisor support and service division within the Private Client Group.

In her role, Jamie will lead a team of coaches and consultants dedicated to supporting the formation and development of advisor teams, supporting the business growth of Janney advisors through ongoing coaching, and helping advisors who are navigating succession planning as they enter retirement.

“At Janney, we recognize the importance of proactive practice management and business development support, education, and training to ensure our Financial Advisors and teams are best equipped to serve the evolving needs of their clients. We’re thrilled to welcome Jamie as we continue to enhance our capabilities to provide increased support for our advisor’s teaming and succession needs,” said Kevin Reed, President of the Private Client Group.

Jamie’s addition is part of several enhancements made over the last year to Janney's Practice Management Group to strengthen the firm's internal service model, supporting the continued growth and success of its advisors and top advisory teams.

Earlier this year, Jessica Landis was named Director of the Practice Management Group, overseeing Learning, Professional Development and Events, Business Development and Teaming, and High Net Worth Consulting. In addition, Shurdonna Joseph was named Director of High Net Worth Consulting, focusing on advisor education, platform development, and the continued enhancement of the advisor and client experience for Janney’s most complex households.

Jamie joins the firm from Prudential Advisors, where she partnered with field leadership to drive organic growth and improve the performance of advisor teams. Jamie is a Registered Corporate Coach with various strength and behavioral assessment tool certifications, including DISC and Kolbe System.
