Kain joined Janney Montgomery Scott in July 2022 and serves as a vice president of investment banking. He has almost a decade of experience in assisting community banks with mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic alternatives. As Vice President, Kain supports senior-level investment banking team members, while also working on the development of analysts and associates. Prior to joining Janney, Kain was a Vice President with Boenning & Scattergood in Cleveland. In his role at Janney, Kain works closely with the firm’s senior-level team members to prepare offering documents, financial models, marketing materials, and market research. Kain sits on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 79 committee that refines and monitors the securities licensing assessment.

Kain graduated summa cum laude with a BA in management and a minor in accounting from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio.  In 2017, Kain earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from John Carroll University.  He is registered with FINRA and holds the Series 79 and 63 licenses.
